    Database

I have been managing an archive of protocols of observations and database of timings of minima of brightness of Czech and Slovak variable stars observers since 90's of the 20th century. If you are intersted in some data, write me.
I manage also a database of timings of minima and maxima of short periodic variables. Together with Anton Paschke we have created the rules, strucutures of the databases and transformed the majority of our data according to this rules. The very active contributor is Francesco Acerbi recently. Despite database is not complete its a very good source of information.
    Conferences

I have arranged meetings of variable star observers at N. Copernicus Observatory and Planetarium in Brno every year since 90's in the last century. These meetings, workshops were in the course of time transformed into national conferences with foreign guests. Two conferences were really international - in 1997, 2001 and the last one in 2004 in Litomysl. In 1997 it was "double-conference" - an international one was joined with a stellar conference of of the Czech and Slovak astronomical institutes.
The last conferences I have arranged:
the international conference "Zdeněk Kopal's Binary Star Legacy", Litomyšl, 31. III. - 3. IV. 2004 and the international conference Binaries - Key to Comprehension of the Universe, Brno, 8. -12. 6. 2009
