We cordially invite you to a habilitation lecture of Dr. Jan Čech at the Department of Plasma Physics and Technology Seminar. For students, we add that a habilitation lecture is part of the so-called habilitation process of acquiring the title of associate professor (in Czech – docent).

Mgr. Jan Čech, Ph.D. – CaviPlasma: Diagnostics and Applications of a Novel Plasma Source

Plasma-liquid technologies have gained significant scientific interest due to their promising applications over the past few decades. In 2018, researchers at the Department of Plasma Physics and Technology at Masaryk University developed a novel, internationally patent-protected technology for large-scale plasma treatment of liquids known as CaviPlasma®. From the very beginning, CaviPlasma represents a collaboration among three institutions, combining expertise in fluid mechanics from Brno University of Technology, plasma physics from Masaryk University, and biology from the Institute of Botany, Czech Academy of Sciences. The story of CaviPlasma will be presented in a public habilitation lecture, which will cover its development, diagnostics, and selected applications. We warmly invite you to attend.
