15 Jan Launching New Scientific Endeavors at DPPT and CEPLANT in 2026 Starting January 1, 2026, the Department of Plasma Physics and Technology and CEPLANT are opening a new chapter in research. With several new projects in both fundamental plasma science and applied materials technology, the coming years promises exciting advances in diagnostics, coatings, and next-generation applications.

Prof. Pavel Souček represented Faculty of Science, Masaryk University as the cooperation coordinator for the STEM field in the Czech Republic at the UAAT & ICU Joint Symposium hosted by Charles University in Prague. This meeting brings together University Academic Alliance in Taiwan (UAAT) and Interested Czech Universities (ICU) to focus on Taiwan–Czech cooperation, knowledge exchange, and creating unique learning and research opportunities for students and researchers.
12 Dec 2025 Collaboration Between CEPLANT and SHM in Developing Sensor Technologies CEPLANT researchers Assoc. Prof. Jaroslav Hnilica and Dr. Peter Klein recently collaborated with SHM, s.r.o. in Šumperk as part of the project “Senzorika pro 21. století”, focusing on diagnostics of industrial deposition processes and machine optimization. The partnership connects plasma research with industrial practice, driving innovation in sensor technologies.
