Properties of the Soft-Gamma Repeaters:
* sporadically repeat from the same source
* soft spectra
compared to "regular" GRBs.

Magnetar:
neutron star with extreme strong magnetic field 10^14-10^15 Gauss
(Earth=0.6 Gauss, iron magnet 100 Gauss, pulsar 10^12) and fast
rotation.
