I was born in the small village Tichá near to the city Frenštát pod Radhoštem which belongs to the Beskid mountains area in Southern Moravia. From my childhood I have been interested in nature and natural science. My focus on astronomy begun thanks to the almost total Sun eclipse in 11th August 1999, when my grandfather bought me Newtonian type telescope Venus 76/700 mm, Bresser. I started to perform my frequent visual astronomical observations (even more than hundred observations per year).

In 2000, I participated in the Czech corresponding astronomical competition and I was selected to continue in the Summer astronomical competition situated at Vyškov observatory, Czech Republic. Here I have firstly met my future colleagues and great teachers from Brno prof. Z. Mikulášek and doc. M. Zejda (ten years later supervisor of my PhD thesis). I was fascinated diversity of variable stars.

After my study at the Grammar school in Frenštát p. R. (2000 - 2004) I started to attend astrophysical courses at the DTPA of Masaryk University in Brno (Department of Theoretical Physics and Astrophysics, Faculty of Science, Masaryk University) and I successfully finished bachelor (2007), master (2009) and PhD study (2015) here. I focused on eclipsing binary stars, pulsating stars (mainly RR Lyrae type) and other kinds of variable stars.

In two-month period in 2016 I worked as Assistant Professor with Research Degree at the Department of Physics, Faculty of Science, Humanities and Education, Technical University of Liberec (DP TUL).

Finally, since November 2016 I became a Junior Researcher - Postdoc at CEITEC BUT (in research groups of Ing. Vojtěch Uhlíř, Ph.D. (Nanomagnetism and Spintronics) and prof. RNDr. Tomáš Šikola, CSc. (Fabrication and Characterisation of Nanostructures). I focus on magnetic materials and (nano)structures, their preparation and characterization using various techniques (Magnetron Sputtering, Scanning Electron Microscopy, Electron Beam Lithography, Reactive Ion Etching, Scanning Probe Microscopy (AFM, MFM), Spectroscopic Reflectometry, Vibrating Sample Magnetometry, Transport measurements, Wire-bonding).
