As part of the international IUPAC Global Women’s Breakfast initiative, the Czech Academy of Sciences is hosting an open discussion featuring five Czech women scientists who will speak about their career paths, research focus, and ways of balancing professional and personal life. Among the speakers will also be our colleague Vilma Buršíková. The aim of the event is to create a supportive and friendly atmosphere for everyone interested in equal opportunities in science and in inspiring stories of women in this field – regardless of gender.
