2024 Earth Day

At Earth Day 2024 in the Botanical Garden, the Department of Plasma Physics and Technology and the CEPLANT Centre represent physics. The Botanical Garden organizes this event every year. This year's topic was plant protection. Hundreds of people, both adults and children, came to the event.

MUNI Day 2024

The event at the University Campus Bohunice is a sports and social gathering across the entire university. The CEPLANT Centre and the Department of Plasma Physics and Technology accompany the MUNI Day with the opening of an exhibition on plasma research and applications. The exhibition has so far only been on display in the Dean's Office building on the Kotlářská 2 campus. Students and MUNI staff can come and see a hands-on demonstration of what plasma technology can do.

ESCAMPIG 2024

Conference ESCAMPIG (Europhysics Conference on Atomic and Molecular Physics and Ionized Gases) will be held in Czechia for the first time in Brno at Božetěchova campus of Faculty of Information Technology, Brno University of Technology. Department of Plasma Physics and Technology of Masaryk University, the CEPLANT center, and the Union of Czech Mathematicians and Physicists are the event organizers.
