Seminar of DTPA: Adiabatic invariants: from mechanics to optical fibres

We would like to invite you for seminary talk given by prof. Tomáš Tyc: "Adiabatic invariants: from mechanics to optical fibres".

We will introduce adiabatic invariants in mechanics, discuss their basic properties and show their interesting connection to Liouville theorem. Then after briefly mentioning the quantum-mechanical case, we proceed to application of adiabatic invariants in imaging by optical fibres.
