From October 20 to 23, 2025, the traditional Plasma Nanotechnologies and Bioapplications (PNB) research group workshop, held every two years, will take place in Češkovice near Blansko.
The PNB workshop was first held in Telč in 2019 and has since become a tradition that enhances collaboration between researchers and doctoral students from the PNB research group within the Department of Plasma Physics and Technology, as well as the CEPLANT Center at the Faculty of Science at Masaryk University in Brno. In recent years, experts from the CEPLANT center, colleagues from Comenius University in Bratislava, and PNB and CEPLANT scientific and project partners from various European countries have joined. The participation of these project partners gives the workshop its international conference character.
This year's workshop will take place in the beautiful surroundings of the Moravian Karst, a unique corner of nature where deep forests blend with a mysterious underground world, yet only a few minutes' drive from Brno. Participants have the opportunity to combine their workshop attendance with a visit to our Department of Plasma Physics and Technology, where they can learn about the possibilities offered by our CEPLANT research infrastructure.
