F3410 – 3D printing in practice is a new course of Assoc. Prof. Pavel Slavíček and Dr. Vlasta Štěpánová. It aims to introduce to students the 3D printing and its use in practice, for example in the laboratory or in teaching.
We present a new course in the autumn semester: F3410 3D printing in practice. Course is guaranteed by the Department of Plasma Physics and Technology and it is open for any typo of study program.
The course will introduce you not only to the principles and basic design of 3D printers, but also their history and use. You will get practical tips and gain experience with creating 3D models in various programs. You will learn about the properties of printing materials and create your own 3D model.

Our PhD student František Zažímal shared his research at the IWA Water Development Congress 2025 in Bangkok, introducing a novel approach that combines low-temperature plasma and graphitic carbon nitride nanoflakes to improve pharmaceutical removal from wastewater. His work contributes to sustainable water treatment and builds on his achievements as a mentor to award-winning student Anna Podmanická.
