Plasma4Water workshop

The CEPLANT Centre co-organizes a two-day expert workshop focused on emerging research directions and technological innovations in the use of plasma and nanotechnologies for wastewater treatment. The event is organized in collaboration with the BalticNet PlasmaTec consortium, which promotes international research partnerships and project development under the Horizon Europe programme. The workshop will provide space for knowledge exchange, collaboration building, and joint research planning.

The CEPLANT Research Centre at Masaryk University, in cooperation with the BalticNet PlasmaTec consortium, is organizing a two-day expert workshop dedicated to the application of plasma technologies and nanomaterials in wastewater treatment. The aim is to foster knowledge exchange between academia and industry and to identify new research directions in environmental technologies. The workshop will take place on 25 – 26 November 2025.

The first day of the workshop will focus on participants sharing their expertise, identifying thematic areas for collaboration, and defining research questions, technological challenges, and potential project partners. The second day will be dedicated to refining ideas and outlining concrete project concepts suitable for submission under Horizon Europe or national calls from the Technology Agency of the Czech Republic.

CEPLANT is committed to bridging research and practice and developing technologies that contribute to sustainable water management. The workshop offers an opportunity to establish closer cooperation with companies operating in the fields of materials engineering, environmental technologies, and water treatment applications.
