GRBAlpha detected the second gamma ray burst
CubeSat GBRAlpha, released by our colleague Norber Werner and his team, detected the second gamma-ray burst. Thanks to the Nordic Optical Telescope, we also know the redshift of the burst. The Neil Gehrels Swift team determined the exact coordinates of the burst in the Aquila constellation
DTPA brings Universe to the JCMM Brno suburban camp
Colleagues from DTPA prepared an afternoon program for children from the JCMM Brno suburban camp. Together with the children, they assembled a solar telescope, the children built a paper sundial with the help of a compass, and there was even time for a lecture on threats from the depths of space.
