Stars defy the black hole
A new international study, co‑authored by Assoc. Prof. Michal Zajaček, Ph.D. (Dr. rer. nat.) from the Department of Theoretical Physics and Astrophysics, shows that dusty objects and stars at the center of the Milky Way orbit on stable trajectories even in the immediate vicinity of the supermassive black hole Sagittarius A*.
