Dean's Awards 2022

Tomáš Kašparovský, the dean of the Faculty of Science, awarded the best students of the Faculty of Science MU. From the Department of Physical Electronics, dr. Tereza Schmidtová and dr. Miroslav Šnírer were awarded. From the Department of Theoretical Physics and Astrophysics was awarded Tomáš Plšek. From study program Physics, also a biophysicist Lukáš Sukeník was also awarded.

Time off for employees and students

There will be Dean’s time off on May 19, 2022 for all students in connection with the celebration of the Dies academicus 2022 ceremony and Campus day activities. Classes will not be held during this day. Employees participating in these events will be excused from their job duties.

First call for teaching placement program Erasmus+

First call for teaching placement Erasmus+ in academic year 2022/2023 is under way. You can submit your application through the ISOIS system (section Erasmus+ STA (teachers)).

We also remind the deadline for student traineeships: in second call - April 30^th 2022 and in third call - July 31^st 2022 (more info here).

Publishing activity of the Department of Physical Electronics in 2021

In 2021, researchers from the Department of Physical Electronics published 45 articles in scientific journals of Q1 and Q2 indexes. In the last three years, there were 168 such publications. Publishing activity in 2021 included 13 applied outcomes, such as certified technologies or other outcomes put into operation. In the last three years, there were 34 applied outcomes.

Tomáš Homola from the Department of Physical Electronics received a new Masaryk University award for innovative scientific research

doc. RNDr. Tomáš Homola PhD. from the Department of Physical Electronics received a new award called MUNI Innovation Award. He was rewarded for his innovative scientific research in the field of plasma applications for modification of printed electronics and its successful transfer to industry.
